Operating since November 1987, Charles Swaby’s Black River Safari offers an exciting eco-tourism experience. The safari takes you on a four-mile boat tour up the Black River, with a captain providing historical insights and commentary on the diverse wildlife, including birds, fish, and the famous crocodiles.
The tour concludes with a visit to the Crocodile Nursery, where guests can observe the rescue and rehabilitation efforts and even hold a juvenile crocodile. This attraction educates visitors on marine life and the importance of the Black River Morass while delivering an unforgettable adventure.
